Anna Kontula (b. 1977) is a sociologist, author and Left Allience parliament member living in Valkeakoski, Finland. She is known as a debater challenging mainstream thinking.
In her recent books, Kontula has dealt with, among other things, social classes, parliamentarism, the revolution in labor and the Israel-Palestine issue.
Kontula’s family includes a spouse, two cats and three adult children. She enjoys reading, writing, gardening and dancing.
