Kristina Hlaváčková is a Czech fantasy and humor writer, who is now also publishing in English. Kristina was born into a family of architects in the former Czechoslovakia. Thanks to her parents’ work she spent part of her childhood in Nigeria. Language skills gained in Africa landed her in Minnesota for a yearlong high school exchange. She lives in the Czech Republic, but loves to travel a lot. She worked as a bartender, head receptionist in a law firm, Office Manager in an architectural studio, now she works as an editor. Kristina is also a part time translator, hobby potter and pottery teacher, skier and a golfer. She bakes the best strudel and Christmas cookies. And of course she’s a writer. And a few other things.
