I grew up in Modesto, California. I was a teacher for most of my working life.

I love reading history, historical fiction, biographies, westerns and have been getting into humorous mysteries such as Janet Evanovich or Ann Charles write.

I live in the mountains of Northern California but am pretty much done with snow. My girlfriend and I go to Mexico for at least 3 months every winter.

I'm also a musician and love playing blues, bluegrass and Americana. I play golf and am still hanging onto a 9 handicap.

I love sports and played softball most of my life and played on the world champion 50-55 year old team in 2001.

Writing is something that I've found I really enjoy and published my first book on Kindle in August 2013. It's a children's book for 7-12 years olds titled, Hero of the Merpeople-Ross Justice Fantastic Adventures Book 1
