Dr Josho Brouwers studied archaeology and wrote a PhD dissertation on warfare in ancient Greece, which has been published as Henchmen of Ares: Warriors and Warfare in Early Greece (2013). Among other things, he is currently the editor of the website Ancient World Magazine, an independent platform for ancient historians and archaeologists to write about the ancient world.
