Jessica Concha is a Filipino-American writer from Florida USA. She was born and raised in the Philippines before moving to the United States in 2005. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Behavior in 2011, followed by a Master of Science in the same field in 2012 from the University of Florida. She has one older brother who lives with her parents in South Florida.
To stay in shape, Jessica participates in a strength and conditioning program called CrossFit and is a self-proclaimed pescetarian. Besides writing, she enjoys hiking, indoor rock climbing, and being outdoors.
In 2007, she wrote A Place in Time in Candymag’s Creative Corner before focusing on writing on her personal website. In 2013, A Place in Time was picked up for publication by Pop Fiction, an imprint of Summit Books.
Jessica sees writing as a channel outside her school and career-driven life. She cites British novelist J.K. Rowling and American novelist Meg Cabot as her favorite authors.
Currently, Jessica is pursuing a third degree and is an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing student. She resides in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma due to school.
