A. L. Sinclair (Amanda) is a contemporary fantasy author, practicing witch, and migrant woman of colour living with complex PTSD.
Her work explores identity, trauma, and power through a feminist lens. With a background in law, sustainability, and somatic healing, she brings a unique perspective to her fiction — bridging the worlds of science and spirituality.
Her nonfiction writing has appeared in Tiny Buddha and Elephant Journal, and she’s worked across corporate, government, and nonprofit sectors.
Amanda also has experience as a screenwriter, having written a number of short films, and mentored under screenwriter Sarah Rossetti.
She lives on Whadjuk Noongar country (Perth, Western Australia) with two well-traveled cats who accompanied her across continents.
She’s passionate about decolonising storytelling and crafting narratives where the feminine reclaims its full power.
