I'm a graduate school director and art enthusiast living in New York City. For over a decade I have been an avid participant in NYC arts. I am the former Director of Programs and Senior Administrator at the prestigious New York Academy of Art.

Among the projects I have founded are the Go Figure Outreach Program (visual arts for NYC high school students), Pedagogical Studies for Artists (graduate level teaching curricula for MFA students), and the New York Academy of Theatrical art with artistic director Terrence Mann. My latest project is a literary collaborative arts initiative, Cite Tableaux, NYC.

My husband, Tofik, and I are the proud owners of a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever named Jack. We have recently moved from Manhattan's Upper West Side to the city's trendiest borough, Brooklyn. I expect the "new" Brooklyn to be the setting of a future book.
