Cop On Her Doorstep, True Love In Uniform Book 1: I received a copy of this book for an honest review. "Cop on Her Doorstep" was an excellent read! Carrie is a widow with an eight year old son, Eric. Carrie meets Italian Officer Jake Stafani because he caught Eric trying to break into his house. Carrie doesn't like cops because a cop had killed her husband. Jake is going through some tough decisions in his life at the time they met. Carrie and Jake are unable to ignore the chemistry they both felt when they first meet. Jake and Carrie's romance was sweet, steamy, and sensual. The relationship between Jake and Eric was heartwarming. I really enjoyed the story. It gets your attention right away. I couldn't put it down. I finished in one day. You get steamy romance, values in life, relationships in our lives, and HEA. I look forward to reading the next book in this series and other books by Karen Docter. Karen is now on my list of favorite authors. BookSnuggle ~ Reviewer
