I was born in Wolfeboro, NH, but have lived in Boston, MA all my life. My grandmother, my mother's mother, was one of five sisters who immigrated to this country from Ireland. My great grandfather (my grandmother's father) was an actor, painter and property owner. My father was a longshoreman who came from Newfoundland. My father's mother was Irish, his father was Scotch.
My uncle, my mother's brother, who recently passed away, was a well know and respected hotel manager: the Sherry Biltmore, Blue Hill Country Club, Holiday Inn in Framingham to name a few places. He was also a Notary Public, Landlord and Realtor in New Hampshire.
