She then worked at various international organizations before publishing her first book in the early 1990s. The success was encouraging. And it remains so to this day. The spectrum ranges from picture books to children's books to non-fiction books. She has published with publishers such as Annette Betz, Arena, Carlsen, cbj, Coppenrath, KeRLE, Herder, Ueberreuter, Nord-Süd and Sauerländer. Many of her books have been translated into other languages."
