Hélène Glykatzi-Ahrweiler (Greek: Ελένη Γλύκατζη-Αρβελέρ) is an eminent Greek-French university professor and Byzantinologist.
She's a member of the French Academy, an associated member of the Royal Belgian Academy, a corresponding member of the British Academy, of the Academy of Athens, of the Academy of Sciences of Berlin, and of the Academy of Sciences of Bulgaria.
Moreover, she's a doctor honoris causa of the following Universities: London, Harvard, Belgrade, New York, Lima, Nouveau-Brunswick, Haïfa, and of the School of Higher Studies in Political and Social Sciences of Athens.
She is also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Greece.
