Born on January 7, 1984, in Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador, and was raised in the communities of Appleton and Glenwood before moving to Gander at the age of fifteen. She completed an Administrative Assistant course in 2005 through MacTech Distance Education and later earned a Diploma in Therapeutic Recreation from Keyin College in 2012.

After graduating from college for the second time, she relocated to Fort McMurray, Alberta, where she managed the Northeastern Regional Office of Spinal Cord Injury Alberta until its closure during the pandemic. She joined the Royal Canadian Legion McMurray Branch’s Board in 2017 as Events and Fundraising Chair and became Branch Manager in 2020.

Stephanie has also managed significant health challenges. A slip and fall accident in 2015 caused damage to her C6 and C7 vertebrae, resulting in ongoing pain management due to a pinched brachial nerve. She was later diagnosed with ADHD and has experienced multiple periods of depression, particularly during the height of the pandemic when she was balancing treatment changes with the demands of her work.It was during this time that she began writing, first creating Marvel fan fiction and then shifting to original fiction. Her debut novel, Back to Him, was adapted from one of those early projects. Since then, she has written ten novels and published four, with additional works in development.
