I currently work at the Motion Picture, Broadcast and Recorded Sound Division of the Library of Congress. Formerly, I was the archives director for the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago and, after that, was a project archivist for the Library of American Broadcasting at the University of Maryland. I am the author of the books "Women Pioneers in Television" and "Virginia Marmaduke: A Journey in Print from Carbondale to Chicago." My newest work, "June Cleaver Was a Feminist," will be published later this year, 2012.
