Marco de Hoogh was born in 1971, in Breda, The Netherlands. He is the youngest son of Gerard de Hoogh; published author of 17 books, and Truus Sierat; Artist and most wonderful person in the world. Yes, Marco is a mama's boy.

Marco moved to Calgary, Canada with his family when he was twelve years old. His parents started up a chocolate factory, which existed for twenty years. Marco is addicted to chocolate.

He still calls Calgary his home, and lives there with his wife, two sons, and various pets. He loves to read, play and watch soccer, and hang out with friends. But mostly he loves to write.

Marco always loved writing, but didn't get serious about it until 2018. Well, serious... It remained a part-time endeavor. Writing doesn't exactly pay the bills. He chose to avoid the dance with traditional publishers and has joined the Self Publishing Community.

Marco published the fifth book in Apocalypsis Immortuous; Discord in 2023, and is planning to finish off the series in 2024. And after that? He'll keep writing, of course! :-)
