Educated at the University of King's College and Dalhousie University, where she received her BA; at the Memorial University of Newfoundland, where she received an MA in Women's Studies; and at Dalhousie University, where she received a Master's of Library and Information Studies; Carolyn Carpan is the Director of Public Services in the Hamilton College Library in Clinton, NY, and the author of a number of studies of juvenile literature.
