Kevin van Vliet (Harderwijk, 1993) is a novelist and journalist. He made his solid debut in Dutch literature in 2019 with a well-received novella and published his first novel four years later.

His second novel ‘Jong en eenzaam’ will be released in January 2026.

Van Vliet works as a foreign correspondent for the Dutch newspapers Het Financieele Dagblad and Trouw in South Africa. He lives in Cape Town.
