Julia Meschter was born and educated in Norfolk, England and graduated from the University of SW England with a Bachelors degree in Fashion and Textiles.
Over the last 20+ years she has lived in London, Amsterdam and the United States as an apparel designer, most prominently with Nike Inc.
"The Artist's Alphabet" is her first book, published in 2018 and was created to celebrate the beauty and diversity of fonts, and to appeal to design centric parents and their curious children.
Her follow up book "1 2 3 Laundry" is to be released March 5th 2019, published by Mascot Books. This is an iconic, interactive board book that makes a perfect companion to "The Artist's Alphabet".
