Over the years, she has been a legal secretary, political speech writer, office manager, vocational instructor, non-profit administrator and teacher of English as a Second Language. She spent four years teaching in China, where she began writing her debut novel, A Contrary Wind. She and her family live in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia.
