A middle-aged woman, heavily intoxicated, walks into a police station claiming to have shot dead her husband and his young lover. The incident is confirmed when the police arrive at the crime scene. The husband has been shot behind the head; the lover, in the face.

However, the father of the accused makes an appeal to the Bombay Crime Bureau, and once again SSP Dev Shinde and his team of young Sub Inspectors are assigned to a rather straightforward case.
