When Dad starts coming home late smelling of perfume, Mum goes off for the weekend, Rachel gets involved in animal rights, and Matthew has nobody to turn to except Elizabeth his imaginary pen-friend. This works well until Matthew realizes that a real-life friend may be the only person who can truly help him.
