A new series of World War 2 Romances by Samantha Michaels

It's 1944 and Rosie is one of six women who meet and become firm friends working in a parachute factory in war-torn London. As a bloodied chute is returned for inspection after it fails and kills the soldier who was using it, a reminder of the devastation of loss is brought home to the girls. Rosie particularly remembers her own grief. As the girls rally round to support her, a special treat is is brought out to comfort them - a rare tin of biscuits. From then on, the women vow to keep their letters and mementoes in their own tins and The Biscuit Tin Secrets Club is born.

1996. Suzy is unlucky in love and after another bad break-up she visits her Gran Rosie for tea and comfort. As she questions Rosie about her own experiences of love, her Gran brings out an old biscuit tin full of letters and photos and a shocking secret is revealed. This sends Suzy on a journey into her Gran's past - but will it heal Rosie's heart and offer new hope for her own?

This is the first of the stories as all of the secrets of the six parachute factory women are revealed one by one when the biscuit tins of Rosie, Vivian, Norma, Peggy, Ida and Phyllis are found two generations later by their families.
