It's the mid-1970's and Tessa's eighteen. Her parents are Greek migrants who have worked hard to establish a new life with old traditions - traditions Tessa finds hard to accept and that tear her apart as she searches for her self and tries to keep her parents love.

Set against a background of the emerging women's movement, 'Shadows of Olive Trees' is about the passions, laughter and complexity of young women searching for identity.
