Sahvrin Bishop--aka "The Eveque" is taking a wife.

Bayou Code allows her to choose to either serve as his right hand in The Twelve or become his domestic goddess at home.

He isn't allowed to sway her choice but nothing stops him from making one or the other hard to make.
And with a war on the horizon with the people who trafficked her, he's fighting to keep his angel hidden and protected.

But since she's anything but the hiding type, he's forced to play dirty with her.
