Did you know C. S. Lewis was married? Most people think of him as the typical English bachelor professor. And he was -until he was nearly sixty. Then he married a most unusual woman.

John Knox had a most unusual mother-in-law. Hudson and Maria Taylor were forced to go against the feelings almost everyone they knew in order to marry. Grace Livingston Hill married twice; both unions ended in tragedy. Evangelist Billy Sunday was married, too, but he seemed to need a business manager more than a wife.

And all these marriages had something in common. They were the marriages of great Christians.
