As an outgoing, upbeat guy who travels over some very serious ground, Peter finds the human aspect in every city: either sneaking through the Bosnian war zone with newfound friends Slaven, Koca and Damir; playing house-guest to a beautiful Iranian woman named Fatty and her brother, Ali; crossing from Pakistan into Afghanistan in the mujahideen's car with fellow-travelers Keith and Hiro; or throwing back beers with two good-time English girls, Jil and Emma.
