But, London has been, by far, the craziest.

She’s a crime novelist – someone who likes to snoop where she doesn’t belong – and she has her sights on me.

Only, we can’t be together.

No one is supposed to know I’m the Head of VanGuard’s International Division. She would be painting a bullseye on her back.

I won’t let her get hurt. I’ll protect her with my life if I have to.
