24-year-old Blake, the beautiful daughter of two prominent Earth artists, and a brilliant pilot and engineer, is selected to fly the third ship, Goliath III. She is enraged by the mass slaughter of her people and wants revenge despite the wishes of her parents.

As the long, solitary flight progresses, Blake becomes lonely, having no one to speak or interact with because of the strict communications blackout instated by the WSO so that the attack can be as much of a surprise as possible. So the brilliant and innovative engineer begins to build herself a companion, using her maintenance android, Tobey, to craft someone to eradicate her long hours of loneliness.

Over the next 30 years, Blake and Tobey will test the boundaries what is considered life and love and create a bond far greater than most human beings will ever know.

With the help of her parents, she lands an amazing interview at a financial consultancy firm and luckily impresses her boss enough to get the job. An afternoon packed with adventure and new discovery as Tina discovers a whole different side of her boss and they take the professional relationship to a whole different level.
