James Harrison Castle never had to work a day in his life. But that comes with the territory when your father owns one of the most prestigious hotel chains in the world. James has traveled all over the world, dated the most beautiful models and heiresses, and lived in complete and utter luxury.

But that’s not what he wants.

James doesn’t want to live in hotel suites or socialize with women who are more interested in his bank account than his opinions. James plans a vacation in small town Purchase, New York, where he will spend two months “finding himself” and discovering who he truly is and what he wants to do. However, he didn’t expect to meet Kat Miller, a young, red-haired mechanic with an exuberant personality.

Kat shows up the first day at his apartment requesting sugar and sends James’s life into a whirlwind of adventure he never saw coming. The only adventure he’s never really seemed to experience: Love.

Living under an assumed identity (lest anybody tip off the press to his whereabouts or try to use him for money), James begins a friendship with his beautiful neighbor that soon turns into more.

But what will happen when she learns who he really is? Is Kat Miller the kind to easily forgive and forget or will it force a rift between the lovers?
