A river cuts through the city and divides the youth scene: drug-free straight-edge hardcore on one side, drug- and vice-ridden punk on the other. Attempts to combine the two inevitably result in a fight.
Elijah Court is as straight-edge as it's possible to get. His life is simple: university, tattooing, hanging out with his friend's band. Falling for a chain-smoking skinhead from the other scene is not part of the plan - especially not when things start heating up with his best friend Pete.
Damien is everything Elijah isn't – bold, aggressive, wild and out of the closet. He loves to fight and he loves to bring guys to their knees. He sees shy Elijah as the perfect challenge.
