Working from the premise that the level of knowledge known to ancient civilizations - as evidenced in their writings - far surpasses the level of culture associated with their respective eras, Elmer Blakey proposes in The Adamantine Gate or Those Double Doors of Heaven that early man was visited by a higher, alien civilization that, in part at least, left behind traces of their own culture in these ancient writings.
