For Art's Sake When reclusive widower, Arthur Du Fuss, creator of the cult board game Chancery, commits suicide, his neighbours in The Close receive post mortem invitations to the offices of charismatic lawyer, Sepp Stoehlheim, where they are invited to play a customised version of the game. The prize at stake is Arthur's fortune. That evening, as they play, they discover not only the depth of Arthur's contempt for them, but also the fragility of their own relationships, with tragic, horrifying consequences.
