I'm a writer and journalist based in LA. I had my first article published in "The New York Times" back in 1990, while I was still at university. Since then, I've written for "The Los Angeles Times," "The San Jose Mercury News," "The LA Daily News" and a host of speciality publications dealing with technology, science, transportation and finance. I've also written, produced and voiced commentaries and stories for NPR. I wrote my first stage play, "Story of a Comfort Girl," in 1998 while attending grad school at Carnegie Mellon University. It was performed in Toronto the following year. I published the novelization of my play in 2012. I'm currently working on another novel about WWII.
