Dr. Ruth E. Tingay is an English wildlife conservationist who has worked in the field of raptor research and conservation for over 30 years.
Tingay was raised in Chesterfield, in Derbyshire. She left school at 16, working at Battersea Dogs Home for a couple of years before taking a job at the Animal Quarintine Centre at Heathrow Airport.
